Ray began to develop a focus on photography by capturing images of family activities and  travel, including Texas, Tropical, and Gulf Coast scenery.  Indeed, Ray's Tropical and Texas images are his passion, but he also produces vibrant macro and close-up images.

Ray is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and Texas Professional Photographers Association.

He and his wife, along with their three cats, currently reside in the Gulf Coastal region of Texas, but he can sometimes be found on a beach in the Caribbean.
